Before the rebrand, National Grid’s fleet of plain white vans blended anonymously into the background — a modest presence for a company carrying out essential work across the country. Roadworks were often seen as an inconvenience, and by appearing apologetic, the brand missed the chance to show pride in the service it delivered. We set out to change that. The new design transformed the fleet into a bold, confident statement on the road — one that communicated visibility, accountability, and purpose. The rollout proved a resounding success, and today those vans stand as a familiar, trusted symbol of the vital work that keeps the nation running.
