Poetry By Heart is an annual national competition which inspires schools and students to recite poems by heart. Schools holds their own competition events, escalating to regional heats. The winners of these rounds will go head to head in a national final event where all contestants perform their pieces on stage.

Every year, contestants will chose three poems to learn and perform: two from an anthology timeline and another from a themed showcase. This online resource will become an invaluable teaching aid for the participating schools.
