BT has transformed from a traditional telecoms provider into a global technology leader — one rooted in innovation as well as infrastructure. With the rollout of its nationwide broadband network complete, the company turned its focus to cloud computing, unified communications, and ultra‑fast connectivity across the world. This evolution called for a visual identity that balanced legacy with progress — a look that honoured BT’s heritage while expressing its growing technological ambition. The result was the “atom” concept: a dynamic reinterpretation of the BT logo infused with energy and light, paired with luminous, back‑lit photography that captured the brand’s premium, forward‑looking spirit.
